This avoids the shrinkage and bowing caused by the lumber drying out after building a new deck. KDAT lumber offers many benefits to the traditional treated wood that can help create a lasting minimal maintenance deck option and when paired with a low maintenance railing you will have the best of both worlds. Natural wood deck surface offering the aesthetic of a custom wood deck, but the lack of maintenance on a maintenance free railing when paired together.
